How furniture affects the K-12 School learning environment on What’s the Scope? with Finegold Alexander

Finegold Alexander Principal Regan Shields Ives, Architect Connor Byrne, and Stefura Associates Interior Designer Amanda Baillie discuss the interior design of Gladstone Elementary School

Welcome to What’s the Scope? with Finegold Alexander Architects, the podcast where we share our hands-on approach to projects and how we love to celebrate design that is boundless.

A school doesn't come to life until the furniture and finishes bring together the vision of the interior design. Take our Gladstone Elementary School located in Cranston, Rhode Island, for example. The 100,000 SF building would only be a shell of a school without colorful paint on the walls, student artwork for wall graphics, and flexible seating and tables that with forest imagery throughout.
