Finegold Alexander Architects celebrated the erection of structural steel framing for the new Gladstone Elementary School during the recent beam signing ceremony in Cranston, Rhode Island. Principal Regan Shields Ives, AIA, ALEP, LEED AP, along with architects Erin Flaherty, AIA, and Connor Byrne, AIA, and project team members from Jacobs and Gilbane Construction Company joined students, staff, and community dignitaries to leave their mark on the new 100,000 SF school signing a beam that will be placed above the principal's office.
Finegold Alexander is working closely with the City of Cranston on the design and construction of the new 100,000 SF Gladstone Elementary School, to replace an existing 1950’s-era school. With an enrollment of 798 students serving grades K- through 5, the new school will consolidate both Gladstone and Arlington Elementary Schools into one building.
