The future students of Gladstone Elementary School got a sneak peek into their new school at the latest Student Engagement Events earlier this month. They watched a video of their Principals Amy Vachon and Amy Corso-Latos, clad in protective gear, touring the construction site with Gilbane Building Company Project Executive John Alexander and Finegold Alexander Architect Connor Bryne.

With a view of Cranston and the greater Providence area from each floor, the Principals walked up and down the 140 steps that lead from the gym on the lowest level, through the Learning Communities on floors 1 - 3, and up to the roof to see first-hand the learning spaces come to life and hear about construction practices. Finegold Alexander Principal Chistopher Lane, Gilbane Project Manager Obadiah Rankin, Gilbane intern Arpi Donoyan, Jacobs Project Manager Adnan Taqui, and Cranston Public Schools staff Jen Cowart and Chris Jedson presented and helped facilitate the events. We were thrilled to see and hear the students’ reactions as they watched the progress on their new school take shape!
