What did you want to be when you were small? I wanted to be an aeronautical engineer and design fighter jets until I realized that meant getting a PhD and taking a boatload of math and physics. Architecture seemed the better path.
Best family vacation? Hawaii, specifically Maui and Big Island. Such an amazing and unique place, and now trying to figure out how I can afford to retire there!
Who is your hero? My Dad. He was a professor of Physical Chemistry at Syracuse University and the smartest person I have ever known. His amazing intellect was matched only by his self-deprecating humor and gentle soul.
Any hobbies? I am a big car guy but, lacking funds and space for the real thing, I have gotten into RC cars. It is like building a really complex Lego set with motors and batteries and lets you enjoy the thrill of driving fast without risk to others!
Favorite author? J.R.R. Tolkien. Yes, I am a huge nerd.
