Do you speak any languages? I speak German and Greek. I am first generation American. My mom is from Germany and my dad is from Greece and I believe my European background has really influenced who I am both personally and professionally as a designer.
What is the best vacation you’ve been on? My favorite trip so far is probably Hawaii but it is so hard to choose. Traveling is my favorite thing in the world. I believe travel is the best gift you can give yourself.
What is your favorite animal? Dachshunds. When I studied abroad in Florence they were so popular – it was like all the locals had one. I think they are great city dogs and I will definitely get one when I am ready to make the commitment!
What made you want to become an architect? My parents decided to expand and renovate our house when I was a sophomore in high school, and they let me join all the meetings with the architect. I got to see the weekly drawing sets (drawn by hand) and I thought they were so cool. I was always good at art and math, so I decided to give it a shot!
