Finegold Alexander is excited to share The First Church of Christ, Scientist - The Mother Church Preservation and Restoration project - was one of 12 winners of the 2026 Faith & Form International Awards for Religious Architecture & Art! Awarded by the Partners for Sacred Places, the project won the Religious Architecture Restoration award for its restoration of the historic interior finishes, rehabilitation of the semi-domes and cupola, accessibility improvements, and upgraded electrical and life safety systems. "The resplendence of the Mother Church is back," the jury praised.

Congratulations to the design team at Finegold Alexander and Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) on this achievement and hope to see some familiar faces at AIA26 in San Diego for the award ceremony!
