Finegold Alexander’s conversion of the neo-Gothic Holy Trinity German Church to a condominium in Boston’s South End was featured in Curbed, a real estate and architecture website by New York Magazine. The article, titled, “The Right Way to Convert a Church Into a Condo,” offered The Lucas as an example of one approach to a church conversion by gutting out the interior and leaving the masonry walls, tower and stone details intact, to preserve a building’s original massing, neighborhood presence, and recognizable and historic nature.
