An extension to the historic Pilot House on Boston Harbor, this new six-story building provides office space and three levels of underground parking.  FA+A addressed a variety of issues, such as ensuring that the new structure complements the city’s distinctive urban waterfront neighborhood, resolving challenges unique to both pier and underwater construction, and providing public waterfront access on the site that conforms to Boston’s Harborwalk program.
