The Wang Center is Boston’s largest theatre. FA+A’s comprehensive restoration was the first since the theatre opened in 1925. The first phase of work, included an enlarged orchestra pit, re-raking of the house floor to improve sight lines, and the creation of handicapped-accessible box seats. The second phase included repainting the house, upgrading acoustical systems and house lighting, and new HVAC and fire protection systems.
