The doors of the newly renovated Berkshire Hall were thrown open at long last as eager students and faculty streamed inside for the first day of classes. FA A completed renovation on Berkshire Hall in August. Head of School Mike Maher reveled in the significance of the milestone in the School’s history. “This building is a symbol of our renewed commitment to academic excellence - a place where we will literally change lives. It is also a symbol of our progress as a school.” At 7:55 am, the community gathered on the steps of Berkshire Hall to hear a few words. At exactly 8 am, All School President Kelsey Brown and Head Prefect Richie Pallai rang the School bell, signaling the official opening of Berkshire Hall, and the start of the new school year. Pieter Mulder, Academic Dean, said, “The opening bell this morning ushered in a thrilling start to the school year. The excitement and pride were evident throughout the building, and I fully expect that this inspiration will carry the school towards an exceptional academic year.”
