Tony Hsiao joined FA+A of Boston as a designer in 1984 and became a Principal and Director of Design in 1997. In addition to his outstanding design work over the past 24 years, Mr. Hsiao has contributed to a number of the firm’s best known and recent projects, with client types spanning from education, institutional, religious, and public and private sector work across the country.
Mr. Hsiao has led the design of many of the firm’s recent new work, including Mt Ida College new residence hall, performing arts center at Bryn Mawr college, the new Trial Courthouse at Fall River, The Penny Savings Bank mixed use development, Museum Towers in Taipei, and new religious buildings across the country. He is also Vice-Chair of the Mid-Cambridge Neighborhood Conservation District Commission, and has served on numerous juries over the years.
Mr. Hsiao graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. degree and received his Master of Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. He is a registered architect in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and is LEED AP.
