Finegold Alexander + Associates Inc has been retained to expand the existing Congregation Shearith Israel. The project consists of an addition of approximately 16,000 sf of enclosed space, primarily a second sanctuary for 500, a chapel for 100, a community court, and related support spaces. The new space creates a courtyard enabling an entry sequence leading from the secular to the sacred.
