Parris Landing is a national landmark, five building, 367-unit residential complex in the former Charlestown Navy Yard. The original industrial shipbuilding facilities, built over 150 years ago and known as Building 42, were adapted for use as rental apartments by Finegold Alexander + Associates Inc in 1982. With 17 acres of greenspace associated with the property, and its waterfront location, Parris Landing is one of the most sizeable and recognizable residential properties in all of metro Boston. The new owners began that conversion to condominiums in May 2004 and retained FA+A as architects. |
