These new and renovated buildings have not only received LEED Certification, but are the first LEED certified buildings in New England for a private preparatory school. Some of the green design criteria met on this project were - Use of existing historic buildings reducing the need for new materials; utilizing recycled content material, such as drywall, carpet, cork flooring and low water consumption plumbing fixtures that feature automatic operation with occupancy sensors to prevent water waste. HVAC systems were designed to operate at maximum energy efficiency.
