FA+A developed a solution to the police, fire and emergency management agency (EMA) space and program needs. A study was conducted and the selected option recommended demolition of the existing fire station and EMA and a new facility to house Fire, Police, Dispatch and EMA components be constructed on the same site. By eliminating redundant spaces and creating a shared space for all departments, the town benefits from a more cost effective public safety component as well as creating a more congenial environment for personnel.
