Finegold Alexander’s design completed the school campus with a new structure that accommodates the Middle School while providing advanced science programs for the High School. A central atrium/social space separates the spaces devoted to the Middle School from the mixed-use science lab wing. The circulation patterns are all defined through the expanded scale, lighting and open views to the athletic fields from the atrium/spine. The exterior use of copper shingles and roofing over a brick base, the soaring curved social spaces, music room and atrium bring distinction to this school building.
