Finegold Alexander was recently commissioned for the adaptive use of Tufts University, School of Veterinary Medicine, Building 16 into a Student Center with an addition. Building 16 is a four-story red brick structure with slate pitched roof. It is symmetrically designed with minimum neoclassical detailing typical of New England institutional buildings of the earlier twentieth century. This new student center will include a kitchen and dining for 80 students, student lounges, exercise room, student offices, staff/faculty offices and a lecture hall with the capacity for 175 people.
